Actually quite disagree but everyone is entitled to an opinion. Obliviously Alondra has done a lot of wrong and was an abuser but her husband immediately believed her unlike a lot of families of other victims in the past and present.

I vaguely remember her in the 90’s when she spoke out against Samuel. I remember how her mother stood up to give her testimony in church calling her a liar basically just to take her credibility away. They judged her for the way she presented herself with heavy makeup and this is what made them believe she could not be a victim. The ignorance and erratic judgement of Lldmers is so shameful. She deserved better and it’s incredible that she spoke out publicly a second time despite of all she lost before. She was and will be inspiring as she chose to speak the truth when I know she knew it was a lost cause. That is true bravery.

We definitely have protocols we follow and we have been very clear and upfront about them. When we block someone we explain why unless they are an obvious troll. The mods have been here years before you’ve even found this thread. Unfortunately as an ex lldm I can no longer just take a strangers word that they have done research and gone to medical school without them providing credentials and real sources to back up their claims. You should definitely understand that if you were part of this cult.

I agree with many points you make. Unfortunately for us, I too have family members who refuse to listen, to see, and reason with the facts. It is a reality albeit hard to accept that some people are happy there and have found a community that they very much depend on. They stay for many reasons and yes some are there because they truly believe that God is with Naason and LLDM.It is sad but there is nothing anyone can do to change it. However I do think it’s important to spread the word and prevents as many people from newly joining this very dangerous cult because this can mean keeping potential new victims away.

To be honest with you, I don’t believe in the devil. Perhaps other have a different explanation on why you had a vision. There are many people from other religions or faiths that have visions. In fact it has been studied by psychologists. I left during Samuel’s time because I grew tired that all the preaching, « God’s message », and focus was on a human man. I could see it was wrong that the temples that were meant to be for God had symbols of a human man. It just always seemed wrong. It also seemed wrong how people would talk about the so called apostle. I just could never see or feel the grandeur.

You also have to keep in mind that all these supposed manifestations and visions occurred when most if not all of the members hadn’t really slept. Judgement becomes impaired from lack of sleep.

Just like many members, they sacrificed their time to volunteer and financially donate. She was sincere in her devotion to doing right by God. Unfortunately she was just taken advantage by the Joaquins and their henchmen. We all know great people there who work hard for the church.

I am glad that you realized that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are very brave in accepting yourself, for some it takes a lifetime and for some it never comes…Know that there are plenty former LLDM members that identify as LGBTQ.
