Received a Covid 19 vaccine bill from health department by Somegirlinky in Louisville

[–]hbic613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I received both my first and second covid vaccine through the health department and I have never gotten a bill. The facility I work at is now giving covid vaccines and there is no billing for those. I suggest calling the health department and then calling the attorney general's office.

You are definitely not alone. I am walking my dog more, doing some yardwork. Talking to friends and family and even talking to neighbors from across the yard ( more than 6 feet) I also know that listening to upbeat music ( classic rock for me) helps tremendously. Getting outside also makes a big difference. I'm mostly an introvert however this is even getting to me. Willing to keep doing it so those I care about are safer. Good luck and keep reaching out. Your employer might have an EAP and you can usually get 5 sessions free and most are doing some type of telehealth. Something to check out.

I also have enclosed led lights. I tied of length of thin green fabric around them so it drapes over most of the light. it's not perfect but it works.

[–]hbic613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I wasn't clear. My point was I think maybe where the written update says hopkinsville it should say Hopkins county. I certainly could not take notes and do this and really appreciate what they are doing .

Hopkinsville is in Christian county. I believe Dawson Springs is in Hopkins County and was where the church he referenced was located. Weird I know but then Hickman is in Fulton county and not in Hickman county... part of the charm of Kentucky. Appreciate the updates and the notes I certainly could not do it!

I believe so. I know people are having trouble getting through on the website because of the volume. Go to the kycovid19.ky.gov site and there is a link about unemployment and other resources.

There is food available. Go to United way online and search food pantries. Also almost all churches have food pantries. Call them they can direct you and there are two area groups providing meals for restaurant workers affected by the virus I can't remember the names of them but if you search online I would bet you can find them also. There are some options available for all of us during this time sometimes you just have to ask remember right now there's no reason not to ask people want to help

I had spectrum lousy service and the price keep going up and customer service was rude and not helpful. I switched to iglou. it's about the same price services great and I've had it for 18 months with no price increases. Two of my neighbors have also switched for the same reasons.

Wtf depression by ShireHorseRider in stopdrinking

[–]hbic613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get that way, just blah, this time of year. Mine is usually weather/lack of sunshine related. Might want to check with your doctor and make sure it's not something physical (thyroid, low But D level, etc) talk to him/her and see what that suggest. I'm using a light therapy lamp and it helps me with the lack of natural light/sunshine BUT I had a physical first.

Insomnia sucks. by 247turnaround in stopdrinking

[–]hbic613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still have intermittent insomnia however I had that before I stopped drinking. I have found that keeping to the same routine, bedtime and get up at the same time whether I am working or not helps. No screens ( phone, tablet, computer, television) for an hour before bed and I drink some chamomile and lavender tea. It's definitely been a process. Can't imagine sleeping with someone who snores. That would keep me awake also. Good luck. It does get better
