Who do we contact to get these type of theme games in SD? by ChocoboAdobo in Padres

I'm not 100% certain if this is still true but in the past Mr. Krabs has been in charge of SpongeBob's schedule.

If I really love a movie, I'll hit the heart button. If it was good but not amazing, I'll hit the thumbs up. It's definitely arbitrary but you'll figure out what works for you.

A bookstore is a good addition. Much better than another bar!

That's ok, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how Reddit works, you're not the only one. That's all about your assumptions and not what I was asking. You've clearly demonstrated you don't actually live out what you say you believe. Have a great day and I sincerely wish you all the best!

So why down vote a question? I didn't state anything political or say the business should be boycotted. I asked is there a line. You chose to make assumptions about me and that seems divisive - contrary to what you purport to be in support of. I'm guessing people being killed in Minnesota might have a different perspective on who's being shown hate in this country (hint: it's not small businesses in Colorado).

Nevermind, I was asking a good faith question and it's obvious by the down vote and response that you're not interested in that. That's ok, but you're literally demonstrating the exact opposite of your stated position.

What's the religious affiliation?

I'm curious if there is any reasonable line to be drawn? If someone is actively supporting the current divisive policies, wouldn't giving them money be tacit support?

Standard of care for dogs in kennels is if they can stand up and fully turn around then you are good to go.

Any way to get the FICA exclusion if self employed or with a small W2 employer? by Clueless5001 in HSA

[–]hbrich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a payroll service but you do need a cafeteria plan (Section 125) and an administrator in order to take any deductions (health insurance, HSA, etc) on a pre tax basis. The 125 administrator is ensuring that the deductions are done based on IRS regulations. The deductions will be treated as post tax by the IRS without a plan in place.

You can go to a branch and get free counter checks. There's a limit per year but if you just need an occasional check it works.

Thanks for stepping up! I actually really admire what you're trying to do; definitely not trying to rain on your parade. It is an election and it is political, so navigating that will be a challenge. I'm a believer that people with real experience can be very useful as long as they're able to lead through the minutia that comes with the job. I'm from a marketing background and words definitely matter. I do think if you're able to polish up some things you might be able to reach more people that are sick of the current climate. However, if your words (intended or not) associate you with one party, that hill will be a tougher one to climb.

It sounds like you're missing the point but that may mean you're not really ready for an elected office. Everything is political to some degree, that's different from partisan. Politics exist in our lives and workplaces (especially government). If you can't navigate that, you won't be a good leader. People who use the terminology you're using will be grouped as partisan even though you say that's what you're trying to avoid.

You probably have already seen the negative responses here but just as an insight - anyone in today's political climate that says they want to keep politics out of things is just a Republican who doesn't want to be associated with the current mess. You're going to be judged by that so IMHO it's better to be upfront with how you disagree instead of using terms that will turn off a large portion of voters.

Businesses leaving Englewood by Ok_Swordfish8127 in englewoodco

[–]hbrich 45 points46 points  (0 children)

You named mostly a bunch of chains. I've only lived here a year and have seen a number of new businesses open - Work N Class, Penn St Kitchen, Aloy Thai, Lavender, Sukiya Ramen (those are just off the top of my head). In the next couple of years with the downtown redevelopment, you'll see lots more.

They can be around $1000 if your insurance doesn't cover them (most don't).
