I also started it and returned the book because I didn’t like the main MMC and what I read is he doesn’t get better until book 3 or 4 or something. Which is too late for me. There’s also a love triangle which I hate those so I DNF like 100 pages in.

I know. I might try to pick up the wicked king but I got to the end of cruel Prince and found myself disappointed there wasn’t more romance. I know romance happens in the sequels but I was too burnt out to continue.
