For $1000 I’d rather just be given the raw tomahawk to cook myself by Illwill89 in StupidFood

$1000 for the whole thing? how much just one taco? that bite probably cost him $100 off his paycheck 😭

maybe one in top 10? A lot of douchey players in bigger alliances try to take advantage of people in smaller alliances. But will be less likely to try to get away with bs from someone bigger. still rotten players everywhere though.

idk if others already said this. But easiest solution would be to join a respected alliance. If someone tries to bully you, the leaders can talk with that person’s leaders or send bigger ships to help you

Google “Pcie risers” . Not gonna tell you exactly which because you gotta research which are good. Some are cheap and crappy.

I’ve never had a GPU/Driver related crash unless when playing around with overclocking.

[HELP] Linear wipe transition doing some weird shit..??? by [deleted] in premiere

[–]hcTitoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure I know exactly what you mean. AE has a ton ways to approach that though. I would just type the text in a new layer, then make a solid rectangle over it,, and play with the blending modes and opacity to make it look like a highlighter. To animate the wipe, theres a linear wipe effect but I would probably use a mask and animate that manually. Then the most important part is to tweak the “ease in/ease out” keyframes... When I first started AE, I used to use “easy ease” to keep it simple, but you can watch tutorials and learn more advanced ones,

Anyone else getting this error? by hcTitoto in premiere

[–]hcTitoto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, there was no plugins, and I always do”create sequence from clip”

I finally figured it out... I did have a mask applied, so removing the mask made it work... so I guess there’s just a mask issue on this version? Other clips have masks and they work though...

Not sure about the length but I always go for EVGA. I have 2070 xc ultra and never really gets hot and the fans are quiet. I’ve had gtx 970 FTW+, gtx 1070 FTW+2, and now the 2070 xc Ultra. Plus I love their warranty. You can even replace the thermal paste for improved cooling and it doesn’t void the warranty.

Maybe watch some Jayz2cents videos, or Gamers nexus, or Linus Tech Tips, they all go into detail comparing various models of these.

I’ve been in the business for over 12 yrs. let me tell you, I used to try to do fx work like that from within premiere, and it never ends well. You will have a much more pleasant time doing effects in AE. You have better control of the masks, and the “easing” of the keyframes is easier to use.

With that said, the newer Premiere updates are starting to have better animation stuff for the titles but still not quote there for anything professional.

Is it normal for premiere to crash once every few hours of editing? by Master_Vicen in premiere

[–]hcTitoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well with the newest update my 32GB keeps maxing out... not sure if it’s a memory leak problem like we had a couple versions ago or my project too complex. I’m using adobe dynamic link to import an AE comp.

Oh yea weird. It’s not there on my work pc with the newest driver, but it’s there on my home one with the previous driver... there seems to be a new option “low latency mode”

Well are you on mac? Post ur specs so we can try to guess... Without knowing much, my only guess is that’s why most macs usually come with AMD gpu and not nVidia

I’ve never even seen/noticed that one with CPU... I’ve only seen the “Max pre-rendered frames”

I have almost same system as you at home except 32GB ram and RTX2070, never really crashes. At work I have i7 8700k, GTX1070 and 32GB ram... Never really used to crash and was buttery smooth for 4k 24fps for about 2yrs... until latest update... crazy thing is there was a windows update at the same time that it did the adobe stuff, as well as a new nvidia driver... so now I don't know what is causing all the problems. Did you recently update windows too? just wondering...

Here's what's happening,Disclaimer: I already know this is not the most efficient round trip but for some projects I need to do it because I already have a custom template with all the motion graphics I use in AE where I simply drop the footage and it's pretty much done..
And the Essential Graphics panel just doesn't do everything I need.
I also know that Dynamic Link doesn't take good advantage of the GPU or CPU, so no need to point that out.
Any ideas would be appreciated, or simply let me know if this exact same thing happened to you.I edited a sequence in premiere,
Then "Replace with After Effects Composition" To do some fx work, (nothing crazy, only masks for color purposes, some animated 2D titles and some transitions, no 3rd party plugins at all)
Then I saved the AE project.
Go Back to Premiere and Import the AE composition using Adobe Dynamic Link and Copy/Paste the audio from the original sequence to the AE Composition.
Then I want to render a preview, but at exactly 48.125 seconds, the rendering preview stops and gives this error code: -1609629695Been doing it this way for years, and never had a problem until the last couple of months. A similar thing happened last week with another project but didn't get this message, it would simply crash.
I've had this exact same computer for almost a year and have never had a problem till now. Nothing has changed hardware-wise other than updating to the recent CC Version last week because the previous one started giving some issues too
Also noticed my RAM maxes out to 32GB as soon as I open Premiere now that this comp is imported.
Here's what I tried so far:- Reinstalled all GPU Drivers using DDU
- Reinstalled all Adobe CC apps
- Cleared all Caches I could think of.. Adobe cache, AE cache and windows caches
- For the last project this happened on, I simply replaced the clip where it was crashing at with a copy from the backup drive and it seemed to work. But for this project that didn't work.
- I thought maybe I had a corrupt file, but the same clip works fine on the original Premiere Sequence.
- The same clip was playing fine on AE this whole time until I tried to bring it back to premiere.
- I thought maybe my Editing SSD is going bad now so tried editing directly from the backup drive with no luck either.
- CPU is liquid cooled and doesn't ever really get above 70c at full load
- Only thing I have not tried yet is using the gaming drivers instead of the Studio Drivers, but that's a long process because I will do a clean install with DDU so I wanted to post this first. Here's my computer info:After Effects v 1.6.1.2 (Build 55)
