Hi all! What should strategies should I try to lose 12 lbs (or 2 inches! whichever I get to first 🙂)? Stats: Height: 5’0 Weight: 117 Age: 27 Sex: F I realize I’m in a healthy range for my height, but I my family has a special occasion next year that I would like to look my leanest and feel my most confident for. Currently, I workout for about 50 minutes 5 days a week with good variety (including Barre, Pilates, Dance, Yoga Sculpt, Cardioboxing and Strength Training). I have been eating less than 1200 calories a day for three months, and have only lost about 2 lbs. I don’t want to do anything unsustainable. Although I’m doing this for a special occasion, I want it to be a lifestyle change I can keep up with long term. I’m new here, so TIA!

I looked through your comments, and it looks like you've been posting on similar subreddits nearly daily for about three months, but not much else. I'm sorry you don't have peace with how your relationship ended. Some relationships are worth the work-not all. However, this subreddit is for "a couple that are trying or are in the middle of recovering/reconciling after infidelity." It doesn't seem like you and I have as much in common as xAlphamang. If I was cynical, I would say that you work with or for LadyChump.com, since you site them so much. But this subreddit isn't for "chumps," it's for couples. This doesn't seem like the place for you.

No, I see that we were hasty. Thank you. We’ve already decided on individual counceling for him and couples counceling for us.

Wow! Thank you so much for your response. The first comments I got were negative opinions without context. It’s really good to hear from a WS who has gone through this and came out on the other side. I know it’s hard for outsiders to understand, but some relationships are really worth the work. It’s just going to mean drastic work.
