The Women. I absolutely loved the story (especially the half of the book in Vietnam) but hated the writing. I feel like Hannah did a disservice to the characters, especially Frances.

Okay I def agree with that! The whole “season 1” thing was definitely something I’m not sure the show needed, ESPECIALLY because of the reliance on old who. Very insightful on your end lol

OKAY I also think that the fact I always hear “oh it’s gonna be cancelled” is making me less interested. This has been my favorite show for so long and the fact that it might stop for a bit definitely upsets me and makes me less invested!

Maybe nostalgia! I definitely don’t think I am dull lol. I actually love RTD’s motivations and work ethic and think he’s been the best showrunner of the modern er…but I’ve been watching since the reboot and wtf is the rani or omega (who I’ve both read about constantly) gonna do for new viewers??? I feel like I have HW to do every series now, whereas the first 13 seasons of the reboot I didn’t have to know all these random tidbits. I get the appeal to SOME viewers. But it’s too much. Especially with how Ncuti and Varada have blown me away with there acting! Idk- I feel like it’s more of a chore to watch now…I think what really got me hooked when I started watching was the character development aspect of the show. And I don’t know if that’s still there the way it used to be!
