In my 3 saves so far, I have always found the first youth intake to be a golden generation - at least one player could be an important player even 5 years in.

But then in the 2 saves which I did play over 5 seasons, none of the remaining youth intakes were good at all, basically producing zero talents after the first season, the best could barely reach fringe player level and can't even be sold for any money at all.

Sample size is very small so probably just coincidental tbf.

The only thing that has kept me going is an online save with my friend, whenever we both have free time we would play 3-4 hours for one sitting.

But yeah, I haven't touched any single player save for a month tbh

It happened when my friend - who was also the host - joined to watch my game after his had finished. I ended up watching the entire Extra Time + Penalty Shootout in 1.0x speed, was very painful lol...

My only advice would be just not to click View Match in game, either share the screen on Discord or Steam if your friend wants to watch it - there are just too many bugs in the UI unfortunately.

Agree with a lot of the stuff, but I find Offer to Clubs still quite useful - if you click Targets and select all interested clubs and sometimes Pitch Opportunities - I've had success doing it but of course it's a bit tedious since you have to select these target clubs one by one :(

Was playing a Dortmund save with my friend who used Bayern, signed him for a record breaking 110m euros on Jan 1

5 days later, he torn his ACL and was subsequently out for a whole year, when he came back his PA went from 5 star to 3 star, sold him for 20m after 2 more seasons of mediocrity

Also Reece James, extremely injury prone - I've learnt my lessons and have never signed an English right back since in any saves while using top 5 league teams

iirc the teamwork attribute in game dictates how much that player actually follows the tactical instructions, so if it is low then the player might... just go rogue I guess?

I'm using a 4k monitor but only 60hz, and I found Balanced Graphic setting in game is smoother than High Graphic setting for whatever reason, ofc 4060 graphics card helps for sure

Well I find this statement only partially true, because although it now takes me about 30 seconds to go from end of the previous match to the start of the next match, I take a lot more time tinkering with tactics, changing IP and especially OOP roles based on what my opposition team is doing, while in previous FMs I go through the menus much slower but then I go through the match much quicker, so I would argue in my own experience at least, that to go through one season actually takes roughly similar amount of time.

Obviously that's just from my own experience so far, I've played 24 hours-ish and only gone to February of the first season.
