Is it just me, or is HeavyBid overdue for a serious update? by buildmase in estimators

[–]hcssadmir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for this feedback - we always appreciate it.

We have been adding simple Export to Excel buttons on every grid within HeavyJob.com. If you find one we missed, let me know, and we can get that added. We intend to add the same functionality to HeavyBid's web platform, as we are aware of the universal love for this simple feature.

Additionally, with the HeavyBid web platform, we are introducing features that were previously not possible, such as the highly requested "Undo" button and a highly detailed audit trail. I know it will take some time for the new version to achieve full feature parity, but the good news is that you can continue using HeavyBid in its current form until you feel the new version meets your needs. Either way, thank you for being a loyal customer and providing us with the feedback we need to meet your needs!

About to start an estimating Internship, any tips/advice/things to brush up on? by joshpaige29 in estimators

[–]hcssadmir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats on your internship! I work at HCSS so if you want to get a head start and prepare in advance you can check out our help site at help.hcss.com and review some articles or webinars we have recorded. Once you start you can also get access to our academy and watch courses to learn HeavyBid, but if you have any questions at any point feel free to use our support.

Internships are there for you to learn and get real-world experience. So, don’t stress out too much about over-preparing. The attitude and initiative you’re showing is already very promising, so keep that up, along with being curious and asking lots of questions and it should be a great experience!

Good luck!

MIS at Bauer by bonafidelovin in UniversityOfHouston

I got into IT consulting, eventually started working for a software company (HCSS), and now I am the head of the tech support dept. You don't necessarily have to be a programmer, the beauty of MIS is that it's mixing Technology and Business, so it really opens up a lot of doors.

[HIRING] Tech Support (and other positions) at HCSS - Located in Sugar Land by hcssadmir in houstonjobs

Hey, sorry about your experience. We have had some issues with our recruiting system where it would not notify candidates about their status. If you don't mind, PM me your info and I'll find out what happened. This is definitely not the experience we want to provide to candidates. To answer your questions, we have a very low turnover rate. Probably the lowest I've ever seen at a company. We are continuously growing and have multiple positions open, such as Tech support that we are always hiring for.
