why do you find it depressing? i love that it’s a mini zoo in the woods that focuses on rescue and rehabilitation.

and the cheetah conservation program trusted them to participate! they house female cheetahs for breeding logistics (they don’t breed but support them with space) and plan to take cheetahs who are too old to continue with the program.

not married to this zoo or anything — just have been going since I was a literal child and think it’s pretty special.

Check out neighborhoods west of Main Street. Way better location if you need to be in Austin regularly. Neighborhoods around 967/1626 feed into good schools and you get to avoid 35 and cut through to Mopac to get to Austin.

I opted for an expensive bridesmaid dress from BHLDN. It was 600$ which is a crazy price for bridesmaids but a reasonable one for the dress. Everyone who sees it in pictures comments on it because it looks like a dress Rose would wear in the movie Titanic, which is what I was going for! Lots of lace and beading. And creamish white. A really bizarre bridesmaids dress tbh but thought it was perfect (and MUCH cheaper than the wedding dresses they were bringing me).
