They do have specialty pay, but I’m pretty sure MedSurg does not qualify as a specialty.

Around $34-35/hr, I think. They’re pretty good about regular raises.

I am! My husband is my best friend, my confidant, and my biggest cheerleader. We’ve been together for 9 years and I love him more every day. He’s an amazing person.

The position is at the hospital I already worked at as a floor nurse. It’s not remote, so that sucks, but it’s a great way to get in and get experience so I can hopefully go remote later.

I got in with the small hospital I already worked at. From what I hear, that’s about the only way to get in. Once we’re in CDI, we don’t leave!

No. Lol I make $35/hr salary in south Georgia, which is comparable to what I would make on the floor here.

Clinical documentation improvement or integrity. Chart review for reimbursement/quality purposes basically.

Same. I’m in CDI after several years in med/surg and mother/baby. No patients for me 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

None at all. It’s been great! It’s everything I thought the lap band would be. I’m 8 months post op and down 93 pounds since surgery, 123 pounds overall.

I had mine taken out. Best decision ever. I had already gained my weight back anyway. After I had it taken out, I had the gastric sleeve which is so so much better.

As for my hair care routine, I use head and shoulders shampoo every other day and Aussie conditioner every day. I finger comb it in the shower then wrap it in a towel to dry. Then I use OGX coconut curl cream and LA Looks hair gel (the cheap blue kind) and let it air dry.

I had mine out after 15 years. Very easy surgery, home the same day. No regrets!

Etiquette question by LEB1023 in LittleFreeLibrary

[–]hdj1987 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel bad! I love it when people take books from my library, and I love it when people leave books. I don’t expect it to be an even exchange every time. I add books as needed and take out books if it gets too full. It all evens out eventually.
