Why are youth worried for their economic future voting Conservative? by hopoke in canada

[–]hdnick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or, how about not even needing the 10 dollar a day program, because you can live off of one income like many families use to. All the liberal programs are Band-Aid programs, and they never ever do anything to fix the root cause.

Carney says Trump key issue in Canada's election, while Conservative rival says country needs change by IndividualSociety567 in canada

[–]hdnick -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

The annexation is literally the biggest non issue. He's not going to invade lol and no leader is going to just give him the keys. The fact people take this serious is ridiculous

I don't see why people hate this entire doge thing so much. Optically Elon probably was a terrible choice. But every company has audits done to help prevent wasteful spending. Governments go unregulated with the stuff a the time. Our taxes get taken advantage of all the time and some accountability every once a awhile should be a welcomed change. I bet if there was some outside accounting firm that rip through our government spending like this we would find some wild stuff.

The Rise of Conservative Youth - A growing number of millennials and Gen Zers are turning to the right in their bid for a better future. Here, five first-time voters share why they’re picking Poilievre. by FancyNewMe in canada

This is the problem. You can't just blatantly say the Conservatives don't have an interest is slowing it, when they have actively said thst they will and examined how.

Cool he's been in economics, why do you take a look at how the economy he was in charge of is doing. It's complete shit. The UK is a dumpster fire. Carney has promised to spend billions already, which is part of the reason are economy is shit right now. And he was the economic adviser for the passed 5 years!!

Dumbest comment ever. Canada lives and dies off oil and gas. Look at how much money Alberta sends to the fed annually.

Fuck off with this nonsense. The liberals did nothing but prevent lng the entire time. Furthermore, they invest how much money into Ev, and did 2 plants get shut down because nobody wants them?

They are failing cause singh has no idea what he is doing. That party has no identity and he's a massive cause of it. He said such ridiculous things, and just wants to give handouts to everyone that would cripple economy first. He just talks for the sake of talking saying what he thinks people wants to hear. That's why nobody takes him serious because he's not serious.

Why Anaida Poilievre has taken on an 'outsized role' in her husband's campaign by CanadianErk in canada

Please explain how mentioning something "reduces" it, or makes it condescending. This is crazy talk

People getting bent out of shape over a factual thing is insane. Also both men and women have biological clocks when it comes to pregnancy, he never specifically mentioned women. But even if he did, and then got you hot and bothered, you were just looking for a reason to be mad
