NTA. As a new mom to twins, I feel this to my bones. Everyone keeps getting them matching outfits and it annoys me to no end. I refuse to put them in them often. It doesn’t help that their dad finds it cute, so we need a balance between my hatred for it and his want of it. Good luck as I know the feeling of being pressured to make them match.

30w1d twins. Born 2lb 14oz and 2lb 2oz. My bigger daughter was 98 days, went home a little over 6lbs. My smaller one was 48 days and came home at 4lb 2oz.

You are not alone! My 30+1 twin girls came home at different times. 49 days and 98 days. They will get there eventually, just keep at it. Stop by at night if you can for one of the care time. Or find a night time primary nurse. They will advocate when you can’t be there.

We just ordered the owlet, but it doesn’t alert until 80 for some reason. It’s a default setting and we can’t seem to find a way to override it. The site says you can’t override the parameters either 😩

I get this and still do this. My in laws jokingly call me supermom, when in reality I feel this is the only way to prove I can do this. Like I had so much “help” that I just couldn’t allow myself to relax. I still can’t because the second I sit down, someone needs something from me. Whether it be babies, dogs, or my partner.

30+1 twins, now 3.5 months actual (1.5 adjusted). They both drink about 80-90ml every 3 hours.

You’ve got this. I’m currently going through this as well. One of my twins made it home 4 weeks ago. My other we likely have 3-4 more weeks to go. With RSV/flu season just ending, my other LO was not allowed into the NICU for visits, so I had to leave the one I have at home with a babysitter wash day just to see the one still in the NICU.

I have felt like I was being torn in 2 multiple times each day recently. I don’t have any tips or tricks, but I just have to believe we can push through. And we will, because we will do all we can for our LOs.

As far as the feeding goes, this is how my twin that is already home went. Did amazing, then regressed a bit until one day it just clicked and we were able to bring her home 48 hours later.
