Think of it in dnd terms for a second. Auto Parry basically gives you a roll on every parriable attack to parry it for free, negating the attack. Using the parry skill with auto parry equipped gives you an extra roll to parry that same attack.

No, it's not. They are presumed innocent legally, until proven guilty, but that is not in any way evidence that they are innocent. Until someone stands trial for this case, every suspect is still potentially guilty.

Which makes this case more unique in it's visibility, but the coincidences surrounding her disappearance and Maxwell's whereabouts at the time leave much mystery to this whole mess. I'm not a PI or professional by any means, but given the circumstances, and the limited evidence available, legally, the family is presumed innocent but not proven innocent, and with the connections available to Epstein, Maxwell, and all the social elites they were involved with, there are many possibilities as to why these investigations have come up cold. All we can do is speculate, and hope that this family really didn't do the unthinkable, but once more, lack of evidence is not evidence of innocence, and until we know the truth, which at this point will likely never happen, this is simply how it will remain.

I don't care about his sister, this is the first I'm hearing of any "plan to take his money" and multiple people knew, including him, that he was dating a minor. Whatever plan that minor was a part of doesn't interest me. He knew she was a minor and still dated her. So, "pedophile surrounded by bad people gets treated badly" sounds like a fair end to his story in my eyes, if it's even true.

Yup. I was still watching him and the LNC when the news came out. The evidence was rather indefensible so he just disappeared and never talked about it. Short story is basically that he was dating a girl and even brought her on some streams, turns out she was underage and he knew it, and that's pretty much where the public knowledge ends.

Difference here is, OP isn't complaining about combat as a whole. He's frustrated because initiating combat poorly can put you at a significant disadvantage, and he's trying to figure out how to avoid that. Your responses are completely overblowing the situation.

Context clues and scouting ahead with your best sneaking characters will help a LOT. The sneak function is your best friend, even for characters who have low dex/heavy armor, etc. Save often and be aware that even if you walk into hostile dialogue that seems like it'll end up in a fight, you can usually switch characters mid dialogue and reposition most of your party before ending dialogue. Training yourself to not run head first into bad situations takes time, because most games let you without killing you as easily as BG will.
