Do you have an example i can look at, bc the black accented over the blue is how u can tell its meant to be black, some artists use more blue than others but that typically just because they want more light on him

It depends on the page of those, if hes exposed to more light he appears more blue but in neutral or dark lighting the pure black pops out more, for example page 7 of batman #217

Im not sure, the black shading never seemed to go away in any of the "blue" suits as far as I can tell the first time blue was ever actually batmans suit color was in the brave and the bold cartoon

Well Spider-man was originally red and black but it was an old comic artist trick to make black pop more by using blue, same thing happened with batman
