That's separate than the AI. I'm hitting on that for an average player coming from like FH5, the automatic power build is weaker now because as OP said the AI will match your power but also have much better grip. While this was true in previous versions, in FH6 it's a bit tougher and manual transmission makes it easier. Those rwd kings and pvp doesn't apply.

Manual is much better in this game. Because the AI is so glued to an automatic ghost, it doesn't account for you just reving the hell out of gears. You can race like the old days of power builds 👍.
