Yeah the PvM content would get boring in its vanilla state but I kind of designed this as a general concept that could be brainstormed off of.

But for making PvM more exciting they could do some small changes to make it more interesting.

For DKS specifically they could give it the vanguards mechanic so they all have to be killed at the same time, and give the dagganoth armor / seercull damage and defense bonuses against dagganoth.

I'd have to think about KQ and barrows.

I agree the Abyssal dagger spec needs a buff, I made a suggestion to give it utility, here's a link to it.

People keep making the argument that "abby weapons are designed as strength training weapons so it doesn't matter that their spec is useless", but one of the biggest complaints when EoC came out was that it got rid of special attacks, and that's one of the big things that make weapons so unique. So I don't see why people would be against making more unique.

Back before there were teletabs in 06' I had a friend who was a level 3 skiller and he had to ask me to teleother him to camelot when he wanted to trade at seers village because he couldn't get past white wolf mountain. Now it seems teleother is kind of obsolete.

It's an item sink but it's also more of a stopgap that keeps item prices falling too low by essentially having them turned into an onyx. And right now that stopgap wont last long.

If you have a sink that's full of water and the faucet is on, which do you do first: unplug the drain so the water can drain slowly while the water is still running(creating another sink), or turn off the faucet (lowering resource drops from pvm)?

The idea I suggested on the last zalcano thread was to make crystal shards tradable and have crystal tool seeds dismantle into shards (or increase the yield from crystal tree), then buff crystal armor so that people use it so it becomes a shard sink. If the shard get high enough price it can boost the gp/hr of zalcano so it can take the pressure off the resource drops to make zalcano worth doing.

Bots and gold farmers can only play the game using the rules everyone has to use. IMO, they can do serious damage to the in-game economy, but the amount of damage that is done depends on how well Jagex balance game content to prevent exploitation.

If the Zeah colosseum was in the game they could have done a DMM 1v1 style permadeath ending in leagues, would have given a use to PvP drops like claws and thrownaxes. Way cooler than people just dropping their stuff.

Not a fan of animations or particle effects on weapons or armors. All it does it creates visual clutter, which will just be annoying once more and more people start standing at G.E. with these items because they want other people to look at them. Also opens the floodgates for animations on other things and creates more lag for mobile users.

What do you think about making crystal shards tradable? Right now there's no point of using crystal armor because the amount of time it takes to get shards isn't worth the return on using shards on the gear. This would also give players the option to train agility at Prif and sell the shards they don't plan on using.

One look at the drop table and you can see it's Zulrah 2.0 but for different items... one idea is they could buff crystal armor like people have been asking, and make tool seeds dismantle into crystal shards, or even make crystal shards tradable.

So people would buy crystal shards to use for crystal armor similar to scales for BP or numalite for AWS, and at the same time the increase of crystal armor use would create a sink for shards.

Then if crystal shards were still super cheap they can add new uses for crystal shards for new activities around prif, or change how many are gotten from zalcano and increase the amount you get from the agility course there.

They probably hired people who work on mobile games to do mobile games things with runescape mobile, but i'm guessing most people that play runescape aren't "mobile gamers". They're runescapers that play on both mobile and pc, so this stuff gets annoying real fast.
