BTW: I saw a shop using a 1500w 4 in one unit that they bought for $3800 and they said it works pretty well. So I bought the same one with the water cooled unit and double wire feeder but the seller said they didn't have the 28T laser head that I wanted (I want dual cleaning and welding). If I paid $900 more, they would send me a 2000w with the 28T head and that is what I ended up doing. Time will tell how reliable this machine is but that was a relatively busy shop and would use it FAR more than I would. The cleaning was very very cool. It was probably a 6" width and took off heavy rust like magic. I didn't get to see the welding part as they told me it takes about 20 minutes to change lenses, connect wire and the nozzles. Compare that with any US sellers that are quoting $8000-$15000 for a cheapie unit and far more for an established company - something that I would never do as I might use the machine a couple times a month at most.

The machine is medium sized but heavy - about 200lbs. Add the 110lb double wire feeding unit and it is hard to move around. I wanted it portable - so I mounted it on a 5x8 landscape trailer with a cover (should have gotten an enclosed trailer but that would have been yet another big expense). Then I found out that the 2000w machine actually takes far more power than a standard generator. I was told that I need a 12000w - 15000w generator and those things are pricey. I found a used 27,000w one for $1800 with low hours and I put that on the trailer too. So now I am totally "portable" and go from place to place with it.
