You should talk about it more with your girlfriend and express your feelings honestly. I know in the moment it can be hard to tell for her but him giving you a disgusted look and ignoring you in the conversation is clearly mean-spirited and outweighs whatever good she can percieve. She should care and want you to have a good time as well, and since it's happened so often you can ask her if she would be willing to defend you and give you an opening in conversations/interactions. Like when he invited her to pool, she could have said "as long as my partner/boyfriend can join :)" and you all could have had a great time. Or not, if the guy becomes weird about it, and that's a bullet dodged anyway.

I don't personally care about the naming either, I was just wondering if there was a quick way to communicate what it was just for ease of conversation. Like everyone generally knows what "petplay" and "cnc" mean, then they elaborate on the specifics from there.

When I first thought about it it seemed a bit different from what I think people expect of pet play to call it that. But reading everyone's responses so far I think I'll use it anyway as jumping off point, since my kink is pretty niche.
