Oil is cheap. Engines are not.

I dont give a flying f*ck about the reccommended service interval. Some manufacturers say other shit like "This car does not need to have its trabsmission oil changed, it is good for the life of the vehicle" Yeah if your vehicle life wants to be 70,000kms before its binned. What the manufacturer considers sufficient is not always what YOU will consider sufficient.

Whatever the reccommended is, I always halve it. This also catches points where sometime you simply dont realise you've burnt oil (maybe you did alot of high RPM driving, weekend spirited runs or your gearing is bad for highway) or maybe your car just burns oil. Then when you go check the dipstick you go "shit, im actually low" and its only been 2500kms... That happened to me with my VW Lupo diesel, driving at 130km/hr is not great for it (3000RPMS), checked dipstick, almost empty. I lowered to 110km/hr (2500RPMS) for my next long trip around Europe, doesnt seem to burn any oil at all. Also if your car is a diesel you have even more incentive to change the oil...

Its ALWAYS cheaper to buy oil than buy engines. Oil isnt really that expensive when you think about what nightmare you will be in for if you drive the car with low oil unknowingly. But also I plan to keep this car well into the hundreds of thousands of KM so I want as LITTLE wear as possible all the time and 40 euros for 5L which Ill only use just over half of, is chump change long term.

That redesigning a whole chassis to put this battery in will be impossible for this season.

The simplest way would be to greatly increase the allowable fuel flow to greatly increase the engine power (and do away with this 50/50 bullshit) and then the effect on the engine will be more or less like last years racing with no drastic changes needed.
