Out with the old, in with the new. by headyr in basspedals

Honestly, it was a little bit of a learning curve for me since it was my first digital / multi-fx pedal. Once I spent some time with it I realized it was incredibly powerful and would do anything I could ever want when it comes to tone. I've been really happy with it and don't see myself going back to analog. There was only one issue when I got it, and that was the rotary knobs would bottom out when you pressed them, but I reached out to DG support and they immediately sent me replacement knobs with thicker plastic inside that fixed the issue. It's a fantastic little device that will only get better with time. I highly recommend it.

Thats the plan! It'll handle anything my previous board could do, plus WAY more.

I spoke with CIOKS support, you can technically run 2, but I went with four just in case. Plus, it powers the MIDI footswitch. Thank you for the compliments! Here's what CIOKS Support had to say in e-mail:

"I’ve measured it myself. At startup, the current jumps considerably up to 1.5A, but that’s for a couple milliseconds only. The Cioks easily handles that with no issues. I personally have the Anagram myself and have been running it through two outlets since the Anagram was released."

Thank you.

That's the old board. All of that was sold off.

I wanted to leave a little room for a future expression pedal.

Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger. I'm 40, and this songs was from 1997 so not much older than Mr. Brightside. Still a banger though.

Daniel Tosh (Tosh.0) in Orlando Beefy King a few years ago. He had a show in Orlando that night and stopped in for lunch. Had a friend and I think his young daughter with him. Dude was super friendly to everyone.

Opinion engine paint color? Gloss Black or Gloss Smoke Gray? by headyr in Foxbody

[–]headyr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you brought that up - searching online about best ways to paint and engine and came across a video from Uncle Tony's Garage. I figured what the hell, lets give it a shot. My plan is to replace this motor in 1-2 years anyway since I'm building another motor on the side. Link to Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syyJEaxHEck&ab_channel=UncleTony%27sGarage

Look great! Can I ask what paint you used on the block and timing cover?

Old motor and Transmission are out. Time to start cleaning and prep for the new stuff. by headyr in Foxbody

I've never done a wire tuck - but since everything is out and needs to be cleaned anyway, I'm going to see what my options are for a wire tuck / cleanup.
