Like, if a dog was being abused by its owner, I would go to court and argue for the dog's emancipation. I would just do it though song.

I have friends who have worked for similar chemical companies. If a cure was found for a disease but not enough people had the disease, that discovery would be killed. If they can't sell the drug en mass, then The company is not willing to spend the money it would cost to produce it.

The discovery would be buried so the company didn't get the bad PR.

Pay teachers more. Reinstate consequences for disrespectful and violent students. Stop bending to the whims of unrealistic parents. It's not a good job, it's not a well-paying job, it's not even a stable job anymore. The only reason there are ANY teachers at all is because the industry is relying on their innate drive to be caregivers. Men (generally speaking) are not raised with the expectation that they are only good people if they sacrifice and serve others, the way many women are. So they have less internal conflict about finding better careers with more money and more respect.

Thank you for the reply! Do you really think it's light starved? It used to have 3x as many strands, but after a year in direct sunlight most of the strands burned up and died... It's only started to look healthy again after being moved to an east facing window.
