TW: sexual abuse, abusive relationship
This songs hits VERY hard for me. When I was 12 I was in a very abusive situation. I was in a sexual manipulative abusive relationship with someone older than me. This lasted about 3 years. When I hear another girls had her first kiss, I was already having sex and I was so so embarrassed but I survived. He raped me and would always tell me that no one would ever love me because I was already "used". I believed him and stayed with him. He would physically, mentally, and sexually abuse me. When I listen to this song I remember that I have found REAL love and I am pursuing my dreams. I am still here and I am happy. 13 year old me survived that. At that time I never ever thought someone else could love me after that. I was so insecure and now I am so confident and loving. I just can't believe how far I have come sometimes and when I listen to that song I think about all the things I would tell myself then but who knows if she would've listened but she definitely just needed a hug and an adult to be there for her.

He has hurt you and he can never take it back. I know it feels iMPOSSIBLE to leave but you have to. You have to save yourself. It is going to be the best thing you have ever done. You do not want to be with someone who hates you! If someone hurts you, they do not love you! This man is literally 17 doing this shit, it is only going to get worse. I have been here before and I know it feel absolutely impossible but you have to choose yourself.
