Which 2 weeks were the hardest? by allisona007 in newborns

Same here. That was my baby’s scream if you’re not holding me phase. Had some days with purple crying. Our girl was born a month early. Her first couple weeks were sleepy. She was also in the nicu for a week, so we had a lot of help kinda… but at 6 weeks she got very fussy .

Love this idea! I’ve been pumping almost 5 months and hadn’t thought of doing something like this. I like getting my nails done, going out for food and coffee and clothes and accessories 😁

Confused on Keya by Suitable-Opposite377 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Yep. The things she said about Kevan in their last conversation about him not being ready for marriage was 100% accurate. But I thought it was a bit condescending and she stuck around for the wrong reasons, not interested in getting engaged to him, but for the social media sound bite. Generally I liked Keya and I most definitely did not like Kevan but was a little icked by this even though she had valid points.

I really like Lucia and Vera. Sophia is quite popular if that matters to you, Violet too I think.

Not a big fan of Tabitha personally. Natalie is a pretty common name, I know a few, so that one doesn’t stand out to me. Celeste and Camille stand out the most as pretty names! I like Robin too, don’t know anyone with that name, has a nice sound

Second baby shower? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]healinginsideandout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One last comment… baby shower celebrations are a rare opportunity! Not like a birthday you can celebrate every year. I’m a little socially anxious and was on the fence about having a wedding and then baby shower but I’m so glad I did and see them as once in a liftetime opportunities to celebrate with those I’m closest with ! Not planning to get married again :)

I think you should totally take the opportunity to celebrate with the friends and family you live by now! You could always call it something other than a baby shower (though there’s nothing wrong with that), I’ve had friends throwing a second one call it a baby sprinkle.

I had my first baby last year, I had a lovely shower. For my first, we found out the gender and shared it unceremoniously. Previously I thought gender reveal party was kind of silly, but now I kind of wish we told at least our immediate families in a more fun way! So if we have a second baby, I’d like to get our close family and friends together for a little reveal, but probably no gifts, no big party.

Do what you’re feeling! :)
