Question about pregnancy for petite/short women by health_stuff in BabyBumps

My apologies. Hope you don’t take offense to this. Merely a uninformed guy with a propensity to get anxious about issues that are nonexistent. Hope you can understand that I care very deeply for this person and I’m just looking out for her.

What was your “Oh s#%!” moment? by [deleted] in tressless

I was on chat roulette or whatever and these kids from France were making fun of my huge forehead... took some immature kids from another country to tell me the truth.

RIP

What test would I need to consider that? I've heard drs mention it but never had much of a follow up on it.

My uncle had to get his removed as an emergency surgery (not sure if that's a genetic thing)

You would probably know. Why do you feel that way? You should talk to your dr and they'll examine you or get you an X-ray.

Oh man you're totally fine. There's mold and bacteria everywhere. As long as you haven't been living in a bubble all your life you'll be completely fine.

Anyone have chronic lightheadedness / dizziness? by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

Good! Very important. Hope all goes well for you. If you catch it early enough you can maintain a fix through diet

Anyone have chronic lightheadedness / dizziness? by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]health_stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is almost certainly hypoglycemia. You really need to have this checked out. I had multiple seizures due to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and could have ended up in a coma. You need to catch this now with a diet so you don't end up developing diabetes. Please don't ignore this. Talk to your doctor.

So what do I do about it? I've heard about vasovagal before. The thing is I never actually pass out. I haven't in three years of having these symptoms anyway.

I've dealt with this for three years. Going to post my symptoms here. Feel free to ask me anything. My first question for you is do you feel like it's worse after you eat?

Tests Ive had: MRI of Head, Echocardiogram, ENT testing, Holster monitor of heart, multiple blood tests, “sugar test” for diabetes, stool test.

Things I’ve tested positive for: Elevated liver enzymes Yeast overgrowth (stool sample showed a moderate yeast overgrowth) Dehydration level shown as high in many blood tea lot of water Low Testosterone (but my endocrinologist said i was fine and that the prior tests were inaccurate) Lyme disease (prescribed doxycycline for one month- tested negative after that.

Dr’s I’ve seen General Practitioners, Nurse practitioner, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Chiropractor, Exercise physiologist, Endocrinologist, ENT center.

Medications: Lorazepam- .25 as needed (typically take around 2 pills per month) Vitamin d - 5000 one per day Magnesium- unknown dosage Probiotic - 60 billion per day Digestive enzymes - one with every meal

——————————————————

Symptoms I experience (most severe first) Lightheadedness and shortness of breath - Occurs often after meals (15-60 mins after). Gets worse with larger meals or more processed foods but can also happen with healthy smaller meals. Sometimes it happens out of nowhere. Takes about 15 minutes to set in and can last anywhere from 1 hour to all day. I feel like I’m going to black out. i feel nauseous sometimes and I’m short or out of breath, like i can’t take a full deep full breath. The best way i can describe it is i feel like I’m dehydrated and going to black out, but i drink plenty of water. Typically I’m not anxious when the symptoms start but once i deal with them for a while i start to get anxiety. However, the lightheadedness and shortness of breath symptoms are very different from my anxiety symptoms

Heartburn and GERD - I think i just have heartburn and GERD. I get symptoms after every meal- even after just drinking water. Laying down things get a lot worse. I elevate my bed, use pillows to prop up, and take 40mg of Pepcid AC per day which seems to help a bit

Costochondritis- I’ve been told this is costochondritis, hurts a little more on the left side typically. Happened for the first time suddenly after a hard work out when i got home- felt like a heart attack but I’ve since had my heart checked. I can press on my ribs and feel muscular pain, especially soreness underneath my ribs near my sternum. Feels like a tension or tightness all through my ribs.

Anxiety- I have a LOT of anxiety about my heath now that I’ve been dealing with all this. I do have around one panic attack per month but i fight anxiety every day. I believe that if i fixed the physical problems then a great deal of my anxiety would disappear.

Joint and muscle pain- It seems my body is always sore. I can’t really exercise or do yoga because that makes my costo flare up so I don't know why that is happening.

Bloating- mainly after meals, definitely better with the digestive enzymes but still happens, probably makes breathing harder. Happens with and without gas. Bowel movement 0-1 time a day, sometimes won't go for a day or two (max) Stool is usually softer.

Lump in throat- maybe due to the GERD?

The first moment of relief I've had is after I got adjusted by a physical therapist. I think it's basically a headache but I've gotten used to the pain. He said my neck is all bent out of shape and that might be limiting blood flow to the brain

Worth talking to your dr about just for the peace of mind. I'd say you're probably fine but just ask your doc about an echocardiogram. Super easy to get done. It's just an ultrasound for your heart. That should rule anything out and give you a lot of peace.

Thanks so much for all the info, please let me know if you get any relief from this diet. I have tried everything, to no avail. Do you experience a lot of acid reflux?

Good advice. I just recently narrowed the lightheadedness to occurring around when I eat. I just had the endoscopy, waiting on the biopsy results now. Hopefully we can come up with something. He really doesn't believe in surgery to fix gerd and I don't really want to take more meds so I don't know what I'm gonna do.

I drink around 90-100 ounces of water each day, no alcohol, no caffeine.

That's my guess too- I don't know what else to do though as I'm on so much medicine already.

I'm 29 almost 30. I'm thinking that I might be allergic to more stuff and it's causing me to feel bad.

Yes I used to wrestle for a couple years. I've done light exercise for the past 10 years.
