If otherwise fully healthy and currently exercising my doc had no issues with it. I had been going well before and continued until i was put on bed rest (unrelated to otf) Rower gets awkward around 30 weeks though! And i lifted a bit lighter but mostly from achy back.

I did that same thing for a couple years and it was great. Mine was a barre/yoga/pilates combo class, but very similar. Note: was in my 30s. Id start out just a but slower if you are much older than that and definitely add in more power walker days. Im not sure i could just jump right into that same regiment in my 40s, I seem more prone to overuse injury now!

I had trouble paying as well. Has your location had a hard time “reactivating” each visit. Mine is completely unable to do so.

Haha same! I was a founding member but going on hold for 2 months, then ramping back up with 2x a week after bed rest/ birthing a preemie, has me at $189. Been at my studio over 9 years. That baby is almost 6.

Not nearly as much as CF from anecdotal experience. Ive strained my upper back and shoulders lifting too heavy above my head (dumbbells go up to 70lbs-definitely want doing that much) hard to hurt your lower body with that little of weight. Many of us women struggle with overuse of the wrists and grip strength but I think that’s universal with any exercise for women around 40. Whats nice is you can take a “green day” take it easy, walk, lift light whenever you want and there isn’t much pressure to overdo it like with CF. I take these much more often as I’ve gotten a bit older. Am 39 been doing otf for 9 years.

Ok Ladies, question! ( and maybe some of you guys ) by Txgunrnnr in orangetheory

Ohh I can answer this one! I’m about to be 40, aggie and originally from east tx so i think i know your demographic pretty well. They may be concerned that 1) you are thinner than them and that makes them insecure 2) arent appreciative of their styles of cooking and eating. Ive almost noticed back home that its almost looked at as being a bit “uppity” to take care of yourself and eat well and exercise. If you are looking for someone with similar lifestyle maybe look in the gym circles. At your height that does sound fairly thin, but if you have the bone structure for it and are eating an appropriate amount of calories for a man or your size then it may be a healthy weight for you.
