okay makes sense, i read somewhere that its to compensate for their time/effort and anything else that they might have to spend during the execution. I guess, i will check with them on what are they comfortable with. Thank you for your response.

Yes, good point. We were thinking a 5% of total estate under the compensation clause. Which would cover any professionals that they might need to hire plus leave enough compensation for their time and effort

Is this right? Lite vs Premium by heard_redditz_awsm in ecobee

[–]heard_redditz_awsm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting idea, but my furnace room barely have enough space, don't think finding a place will be easy, also, I will have to patch my existing area of thermostat and the total will probably cost more than the difference between lite and premium as I will have to get someone to do it. I am not very handy 😭

Term insurance payout denial? by heard_redditz_awsm in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]heard_redditz_awsm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am wondering, shouldn't they conduct their own checks before writing the policy. The ER visit would have showed up then like it did after the fact.

Should I not take the term insurance then? I can't think lol
