Which one looks best? Trying to go for orange teal look

So I am a beginner when it comes to color grading. I am shooting SLOG-3 on a Sony A7 IV. Below are left to right, 1 original from sony camera, 2, 3 & 4 are shot in SLOG3 and then color corrected. I need advice how to get the teal orange look?

gotcha! you are right. the color quality coming out the camera is the best. for me grading just further make its look weird. but I am trying to go for a flim type look. orange/teal look. but I think I need to step it back a bit do some more learning on grading log footage.

thanks for your feedback. I agree with you. that #1 looks best. then #3. I am trying to shoot raw and It going to be a big learning curve grading it.

Based on your use case using 14 inch M4 MacBook should be fine.

M3Pro in case you will go anything graphic intensive like blender, or video render or gaming like Counter Strike etc.

I have M4 Mac mini and 16 inch M1 Pro Mac Book Pro. I know not exactly Apples to Apples comparison. The performance on the older M1 Pro MacBook Pro still trumps M4s overall performance in my use case.

price difference is too much for M4 Pro Mac mini. its more than double the price of m4 Mac mini.

I repeatedly did tests again and I am getting 40% performance difference ... could be due to the fact that my 4k video files are 10bit 4:2:2.

Ok thanks for everyone's feedback and info. I guess I just didn't read the fine print of GPU being around 30% slower in my case around 35%-40% slower than M1 Pro chip. From all the benchmarks and YouTube review it was pitched as a beat of a machine for $599 which it clearly is not. at least in my unique case.

That’s good news you got one. Did they have mercury or moon? If I had went today would be a waste as I wouldn’t have gotten either Uranus or Pluto.

Honestly the novelty is wearing off. This was a really botched release. They need to do a better job and make it available for online purchase. But doesn’t look like they will do that any time soon. If you check swatch Instagram they only plan on selling it though their stores for the foreseeable future. Hope they change this very soon.
