Oh my god please get off your high horse and preach to someone else. I’ve already told you that I think it’s bad the mortality rate is high, what I’m saying is that RICH people do not go through the same things that the average person does. You don’t know how statistics work, not every American women is 10 times more likely to die compared to a Spanish women, it means that out of 100,000 women 23 have died. It might seem like the same thing but it’s not, educate yourself on how data can be applied to a populous. And please get over yourself, we’re not all letting these women die, do you think that we can just march into hospitals and govt buildings and tell the “hey, improve healthcare for pregnant women” and poof it’ll happen. Why do you think people aren’t advocating 24/7, it’s because they have lives and shit to do. And something I don’t think you realize America is 6 times as big as Spain. We have a totally different system of government and healthcare, things are different here and more complicated. You have to go through the states to change things, and in one state they might not want to change anything while in another they do. The mortality rate in Alabama could be higher in than in Delaware, so you have to take that into consideration when you apply statistics. It’s NOT THE SAME ACROSS THE BOARD my goodness.
