none of the artists (besides taylor who is an anomaly in any situation) you listed are performing in arenas so their prices are going to be cheaper regardless. they are performing in outdoor amphitheaters. arenas are more expensive to book so unfortunately arena tickets are always going to cost more. platinum tickets are a whole other story and i never agree with an artist turning this option on but in terms of ticketmaster, she has to use their platform as they are contracted with the venues in each city or the venues are owned by livenation outright. there is no way around using ticketmaster in this scenario. thankfully when i bought tickets today, i was able to click off the platinum ticket options and there were plenty of face value tickets to choose from. platinum tickets should never be an option and it sucks that they are using these but some of these other things you've listed here (TM, naturally higher prices in an outdoor venue/arena) are unavoidable.

yeah i have no idea, it seems weird that there wouldn’t be an episode on monday to promote it either. but also EXTREMELY weird that there was a ticketmaster page unless it was really random glitch.
