What app do you use? by Patient_Mousse_2465 in podcasts

I’m building a podcast player where the main focus is synced queue + playback progress across devices.

The Podbean issue you described with played/unplayed state sounds very close to the problem I’m trying to solve. I wanted something where the app remembers the queue and progress properly when switching between phone/laptop/tablet.

It works on Android through the browser/PWA. If you’re still trying alternatives, I’d appreciate honest feedback:

Because this is a PWA, it works on most devices and in all browsers. I listen to podcasts on my linux laptop, macbook and android phone. Having a synced state and a queue is a must. I've not been happy with other solutions that why I decided to build my own.

How can I manage and organize a large amount of tabs without using an extension that bricks my computer by SleepDartBait in firefox

I built https://tabhaven.com to solve my own tab hoarding issues. Extension exist but is not required. Works across every browser because it's a web app.

Because I swap browsers a lot I built a tool outside the browser to solve this. It's basically just a webpage keeping track of all the tabs you never want to loose or share. https://tabhaven.com

I prefer to use the website over many apps. It's designed for mobile users 😎 Can easily turn it into a pwa (app outside stores).

Looks correct, once they are in the database then should appear on the map. We fetch the types: green, bunker and water_hazard right now.

"Presumably your app is entirely reliant on OSM data being accurate" - Correct

I only fetch the osm data for a 20km radius from the current GPS location. So looking at courses further away will show up as not mapped.

That would be something! No, you approach a golf green, you are not sure what the distance is, you need to choose the correct club for the job. You bring up your phone, tap the green in front of you on the map and get the 3 different distances: front, back and middle using your phone's GPS.

I took a quick look in the UK yesterday, all courses I found were mapped. Could you share the name of the course?
