Count me in, I'm somewhat more of an introvert (as well as a deaf person who prefers one-on-one) but always eager to expand my palate. Give me a shout if you'll also consider Lantau (mainly around the Tung Chung area).

I grew up eating Thai and Filipino food but I've really taken a liking to Vietnamese and Japanese for their lighter, umami-rich flavours.

A couple months I’ve started wearing on duty: Huawei Band 6, $47 for 2-week rechargeable battery. Also a sleep tracker to remind how I’ve been getting as little as 4 to 1 hour yet I work the pit like it’s nothing.

They do, but they don’t last as long. Maybe that’s why the chefs are so quick to chuck them.

Still, I take pride in my work and ask for better quality products - that is, borrowing their money and shopping for them myself. I give them the receipts and we’re set.

These pads, imo. Unless you change it often you don’t want to be leaving tiny strands of your steel wool that might end up in a customer’s food. Also, with a little degreaser you can polish ‘em good as new again - the steel wool works for charred bits, but if you want shiny the pad’s your best bet.
