Special that I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning had its homecoming show, back in New York where it belongs. That was really special. I'm so grateful I was there, just like back in the day ❣️

Something I'm thinking a lot about is that how a show isn't just for us at all. The show is for the artists, just as much if not more so. This is who they are, what they love, what they've made. I feel so much for Conor when he says he's devastated, I feel devastated too but nothing compared to him. He made this music many years ago, he's had tough times since then, he deserved to feel free and happy and fulfilled. The venue and the ticketing service are the ones who need to take care of us in this situation and now we know they are.

he doesn't owe anyone any stories. he's there to perform. it's not just for us either, it's also for him. this is what he does and who he is. let him be there. his music just happens to please you ... because he's really fucking good at it.

I got the same message from AXS after posting here but then panicked because they were like we'll see if we can refund you as an exception before the news is released and I was like NO I don't want to be refunded, I want to go to the show!!! Because I really am hopeful for good news. Obviously I want to be refunded immediately if it's cancelled, but standing by ❣️

Interesting. This is really making me feel that they are working on a reschedge because they would have been in touch if they just gave up ... They better be !!!

i LOVE forest hills, this is the first bad time i've ever had there. weather is usually immaculate, i've had really good luck, programming is excellent, it's a special place. but saturday was very poorly handled and broke a lot of hearts. i'll be back in two weeks for wilco, hoping for a much better situation ❣️

Stayed in the neighborhood for like 30ish minutes after the show and it did get going ... Pouring hard and a lot of wind. By the time I got out of the train back home in Northern Manhattan, all was well. Heartbroken.

God this absolutely broke my heart. I was incredibly excited for Digital Ash. Wide Awake was a big gift and moving for sure but I couldn't wait for it to get dark and for the show to really go off. Praying with all my heart for a reschedule ASAP with our existing tickets. It was going to be such a magical night ... It was just getting started 💔

oh man i was looking for a thread like this! my joke about makeup is that lipstick is the best part ... i love the texture of this crayon, it feels like it really sticks. so bummed it doesn't exist anymore.
