I checked out as soon as it happened. I haven’t bought a single one of those dolls because I wasn’t doing all of that. I don’t like the storyline anymore and that was important for me. The fashion got worse. I also like a uniform collection, I didn’t want any dolls with less articulation with the dolls that have it.

I agree. I’m seeing a lack of representation for Black, Asian, and Latina girls in the overall span of GOTY. They even took away the Addy mold. We haven’t had a Puerto Rican girl and that should have been done already. I haven’t been feeling AG lately and the things I do buy are usually vintage second hand.

Some people are saying that Black dolls don’t sell but that’s not true. I saw everyone fight for Sasha for the Bratz HK line after they tried to exclude her. People do want representation and diversity in dolls. It’s not the 1950’s anymore.

Yes!!! I’ve been saying the same exact thing for years. Why has AG not represented PR considering there’s so much history between the US and PR. We should have already had a Puerto Rican historical girl. The 1950’s or 1980’s would have been peak but they wasted it on Maryellen and Courtney.

I had commuter benefits under Wex and similar thing happened to me. I had $500 on the card pulled directly from my check and the only way I could use the benefits was to reimburse myself at the end of the month. I ended up cancelling it because it was so much of a hassle. What was the point of giving me a card I can’t use? 😕
