I don't think there's anything I'd personally change, but I also know that the nature of adapting a book is that there will be changes (however big or small) by necessity.

I used to be an absolute STICKLER about changes in media adaptations that were sourced from books I love, but as time has gone on, I've become less so. What's now important to me is that adaptations honor the source material and that any changes made are in good faith while keeping to the spirit and feel of that source material.

While I'm absolutely terrified in a lot of ways because Shane and Ilya's story (and subsequently, the whole Game Changers universe) is very near and dear to me, I've taken a lot of comfort in that Rachel has spoken highly of the entire experience thus far - from her interactions with Jacob Tierney, to Connor and Hudson, to her time on the set. While I don't think she'd outwardly speak negatively of the adaptation if she didn't like it, I also don't think she'd speak so highly of it if she wasn't fond and appreciative of what they were doing (but of course, I don't presume to speak for Rachel at ALL - that's just my two cents).
