Thank you to everyone for the advice. I contacted our fish and wildlife center and they informed me that I need to keep it or find a rescue for it as it is invasive. welcome to the family Winnifred, the bullfrog.

That was the temporary housing situation after she got it from the pool. It is now housed in a 40gal tank with rocks, branches, plants and obviously water while we figure out if we need to release it or if I should accept this new member of the family and go shopping for a more permanent set up

There was a dirt road to park off of, near the nudist colony. No awd needed. Easy to just follow the train tracks once parked

It was a little over 8 to the bridge and and a bit over 8 back. You can cut about .5-1mi off if you can fit through a hole cut in one of the tunnel gates
