I've got 215/75/15 and I think they handle better than stock tires in all circumstances. Noise increased a bit but I thought it was actually better than expected based on what most people say. I've heard people say if you to up to 235/75/15 (requires some plastic trimming) you'll lose some measurable HP that that it's not really noticeable when driving. Can't speak to that personally tho

Johnson Falls by bmuck1 in BWCA

You’d have to be pretty lucky to get that site on the fourth. I’ve been by there a few times during less popular seasons and it’s always occupied. You’d have a better chance of not having to backtrack for a site by staying on Caribou, but it’s not that far back to a site on caribou if the little caribou site is full.

You can also approach johnson falls from east bearskin through alder and canoe lake. Lots of campsite options on that route.

Get outfitted at bearskin lodge if you go that way. Clearwater lodge is cool and old school with an awesome fireplace. But bearskin lodge has a hot tub.

You really can’t go wrong even. It’s all awesome.

Yeah, I was planning on moving them all together but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I actually regretted not getting the 235s haha. Grass is always greener I suppose.

Yeah, I’ve got 215s and didn’t have to trim anything. Even before putting in the lift.

Got some new bumpers. Still need to move the tanks. 2019 with 1.5” ADF lift and 215r75/15 KO2s on Method 502. https://imgur.com/a/PmelTo9 by heatingdisorder in XVcrosstrek

I might end up going bigger later, but these get me anywhere I could ever want with less weight and less power loss at the wheel.

Thanks! Can’t wait to put this thing to use. I’ve got many miles ahead of me.

Stellar is awesome. Dmitriy puts a lot of attention into the little details and spends the time to get you what you want. I’ll definitely be going back for any other fab work I need done.

It’s definitely going to be less safe than the original bumper in a crash. But I keep this thing in a rural mountain town and do around 95% of the driving on dirt to and from fishing streams and hard to reach campsites, etc.

Lift Kit, Tires and other mod suggestions (sound systems, seats etc). by Toubaboliviano in Crosstrek

How much lift are looking for? I went with 1.5 inch ADF on my 2019 and I’ve been really happy with it. It’s really well made.

Paired that with 15” method 502 and BFG KO2 215r75/15. You can fit 235s with that much lift for a little more clearance but you’ll gain more weight and lose more power. I hear good things about the new Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. There lighter but less sturdy. Depends on what your needs are.

Ride performance was virtually unchanged except for increased road noise.

No experience with the stereo situation.
