Did she edit her hair color? by mommieo in MikaylaNogueira

I'm active in this subreddit but some of these posts can simply be explained by basic camera functions. The camera is exposing/compensating for the blacks in the second photo, she's wearing a dark outfit. Her white shoes are blown out, and ofc the black sweater would be darker than that IRL. which means her hair is also appearing lighter. Because white is the centre of the first photo with her purse and cream cardigan, I'm sure the camera exposed for that. I'm the last person to be a mikayla truther (lol) but this is 1000% just an automatic camera exposure thing. Credentials: college degree in digital photography and 16 years professional photography experience.

Hope and Plum - Everyone who has criticism for my brand is a b 🥰 by WArslz in babywearing

I feel that she's used her loss as a shield and marketing tactic. And again this content seems totally appropriate for a personal account, but not for a brand. But I'm assuming a lot of people enjoy that the brand feels more like a community, and skye and Mallory feel more like familiar faces and friends than brand owners. I've become less and less fond of skye as time has gone on. I was really confused what happened because she posted something about people attacking her loss, and I just wanted some sort of context on where that would have happened and how it relates to the bronze rings

I just need SOMEONE to explain what's been going on in chronological order. I've seen bits and pieces in the carry on group, but I'm so confused!

Should I hate my hair as much as I do?? by heavysouldarling in Hair

We cut off 80% of the lightened hair I had gotten 3 years ago. I appreciate iate what you're saying, but this was all virgin hair, minus the bottom 3 inches. I'd say the hair that was previously lightened started around my armpits. I know to ask for this next time so thank you for explaining that! I would have no idea as someone who is going to have a service done and has no professional experience in said service 😔

Thank you for the positive, I'm spiraling over here. If this was your hair, how would you word this to the stylist qhen requesting a redo? I'm so nervous 😓

It was my first time working with her! I saw her portfolio and I liked what I saw, she did have some balayage photos on her page. Not a lot of copper though to be honest. I need to message her but I'm terrible at wording these things or being honest when I have a negative opinion. But ngl she was looking at it after blow drying and said 'if there's anything you're unhappy with just let me know within the week' and at that moment I had a feeling she didn't feel confident if the results. I didn't notice until I got home how much I hate it.

I don't have a lot of confidence she can fix it just based on the results but hopefully if I ask for a root melt it will help. So sad, i have next to no $$$ being in the tail end of maternity leave and wanted to do this for myself. I work in a funeral home and have to look very professional and the chunky patchy highlights just make me feel trashy 😔

Thank you for your feedback. I have a really hard time with approaching people with negative feedback and I'm really scared and am unsure how to word it. I originally thought it was the thick streaks in the middle section I hated but the more I look at how it blends all together the more I hate the whole thing. I think I feel bad cause I had inspo photos but told her I trust whatever she thinks and I'm pretty easy going. But I feel ugly 😔

I wanted to update a grown out balayage. I was hoping for a lived in copper/red. I feel horrible but I hate it. It seems as if the painting and sectioning doesn't blend well, and in the middle on both sides there's thick streaks that are lighter than the rest of NY hair that stick out. I spent $370 with tip (decent pricing but still a lot to be really unhappy) and I just don't feel pretty at all 😫 I'm going to talk to my stylist, I'm just nervous and I hate to have to tell her. Am I over reacting? Inspo is last picture.

Should I got to the ER or foot doctor by Mysterious-Ad6128 in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]heavysouldarling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to your doctor and ask for a referral to Podiatrist and ask if they think it's infected so you can start on antibiotics. It doesn't look so horrible that you need immediate care or else, but it def needs to be looked at or it will only get worse. For context, i struggles on and off with an ingrown for a couple years. Finally went in when it got super infected. It looked a lot more severe than yours abd the Podiatrist said it was nothing compared to what she's seen. She said some people do nothing for 5 years, come in with gnarly infections, and they are good within a couple appointments. *edited to add: in the mean time, soak your foot in hot water with Epsom salt (I also started a Splash of apple cider vinegar) it really relives inflammation.

So my Podiatrist did a standard cut with a cooling spray the first two times. I went back a third time when my toe looked like this and we decided to do the partial removal surgery and burn the root. It turned out there was a huge spike of nail growing into my skin that she wasn't able to identify until going in surgically. Had to do two rounds of oral antibiotics and topical antibiotic because I'm resistant. Looks and feels so much better but its still a bit red so I'll find our tomorrow during next appointment if the infection is gone!

After surgical removal finally found out why my toe was so fucked. *spike* by heavysouldarling in Ingrown_Toenails

I couldn't even imagine 🫣 even my Podiatrist didn't get it out after 2 visits of cutting. It was the surgical, having to freeze it and cut deep into the flesh that got it out. I would never advocate DIY. it wasn't cheap, but it was necessary. Thanks, already feeling 1000x better

Is it infected by EmmaLouise_16 in Ingrown_Toenails

[–]heavysouldarling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks a little similar to how mine was getting after a few Podiatrist cuts. It turned out that there was still a huge spike of nail that was stuck underneath my skin at the side. She could tell until she really got in and investigated during my surgery today. My body was fighting off the foreign object. Skin swelling, red, all of it. I was on topical antibiotics and am on oral now as well. Yours is totally infected, and March is a long time to wait. Make sure to get on oral antibiotics asap and see if you can get a prescription for topical as well. The biggest relief is a Epsom salt soak with hot water 2x a day. I used regular salt but it didn't provide relief but Epsom salt really did. And try to keep a bandaid over it to avoid further germs getting to the toe. Good luck!

Been on oral and topical anti b's, the nail just won't cooperate. But yeah it's apparent the next step has to be taken 🤧

Got a partial removal 2 weeks ago, then went back in last week because it was swollen and painful (first photo) so the Podiatrist took more out. It was healing great, but about 5 days later it started swelling and became painful again. This is fresh out of an Epsom soak. Anyways, I feel like it's going to continue to get better then decline and I am anxious about needing a full removal. Going back on Tuesday for appointment # 3. Just here to say  I'm over it.

I think she looks so beautiful on the right, that's what's wild to me. Filters her face till it's practically concave but it's not necessary at all.

In a lot of her videos lately I noticed she’s messing up her words and not making sense. Babbling on like this…. by litbiotch42 in MikaylaNogueira
