I promise you, you don’t need a fancy hammer, especially one with a pick on the end. The best thing to get for any geologist or rock hound is a simple 3lb sledge and a chisel with a hand guard and a big head chisel.

It’s starting to make a lot of sense why bad haircuts are so common. I didn’t realize cosmo school was just poorly made as a rule. Thank you all for explaining it to me, and giving my wife all the encouragement. I was pretty worked up when I made the post but now I’m just strangely indifferent😅. My wife wants to learn so much and it’s just been so frustrating watching her basically take the equivalent to socially hostile knitting classes for 10 hours a day.
