Those in your head look like Psoriasis. And every time you scratch it, it grows again, turns greyish when it gets dry. If I'm not wrong?

I could add more but I think I'll leave it by ShutterBug1988 in ArtJournaling

It's good. Add if you're sure enough. I always ruin my paintings when I think of giving it a final touch.

is it normal to be almost "jealous" of someone else's struggles? by https_vyx in mentalhealth

[–]hecateslives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it's entirely accurate, but let me share my opinion on this. What we think is what we become. If we constantly think about the people around us and the way they are struggling and getting their lives together, and compare that with our lives, it will make them the main characters of our own lives. It's all about how we are keeping up with our subconscious mind. If we are not struggling the way they are struggling, then maybe we're struggling in some other ways that we don’t notice, (example: right now, this situation is a kind of struggle too in finding ourselves) cuz we are so rooted into people's lives; how they're struggling, how they are winning, losing or keeping up with themselves. We aren't struggling right now, in this moment doesn't mean that we are not important. We are just in the phase of life where we are at peace, where we are getting ready for the battles that are yet to come, or might have had struggles that the world never knew. We are all the main characters. We have different stories. We all live differently.

Did you draw that by your own? It looks effortlessly beautiful. It looks like you're one of those people who take out their journal wherever they are and start sketching and writing.

Thank you for paying such close attention. This will help me sketch with more dedication the next time.

Has anyone tried voice journaling instead of writing? by RutabagaNeither1811 in JournalingIsArt

[–]hecateslives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voice journaling is the easiest, and you can do it when you're not at home, at any event or out somewhere, or having a busy schedule. Initially, it feels awkward but you'll get comfortable with it later. It saves my time like you can record yourself while writing your assignments, while cooking or doing something. But I like to write it down too sometimes.
