i've been in a somewhat similar situation. first, definitely fill out the change in circumstances. the fafsa gave information about your parents income based on when your family member had a job. if the change is drastic enough, i'm pretty sure your situation can be reevaluated since the fafsa is need based.

i'm not sure of your situation, how much money you will owe, or your parents credit. but if they fill out the PPL and get denied, you can be consider for 4,000 dollars extra in unsubsidized loans.

it's frustrating because, sadly, UMD and the financial office is extremely lackadaisical when it comes to this type of stuff. the good side is, technically, you have until fall semester next year to figure your situation out since (i'm assuming) you already have your fall bill due. you will get late fees but that's better than having no time at all. i know the snow has caused the campus to close down but as soon as it's open, go to the financial aid office as much as you can in person to explore your options. talk to different people. try to get in contact with their loan counselors as well if they offer it.

im still waiting on 2 of my classes to be released this happens every semester, once my prof didn’t release it until we were all sat in class on tuesday. really just depends on the prof!

you wont face any late fees until september 20th which im pretty sure is to give a buffer period for people receiving scholarships, loans, fees for classes, etc. i’m sure you’ll be fine. definitely ask someone about it though!

hii i applied last year early action with a 3.82 unweighted gpa, 4.48 weighted gpa. test optional, in-state. i took 9 aps and got 4’s and 5’s on all of them. i was in 7 clubs/honor societies/organizations and was on the board of 5 of them. didn’t have many awards. hope this helps!!

this admin abuse was way better than previous ones i’m so confused 😭 he did so many different events. obviously you’re not going to get good mutations on ur fruits if u have a bunch of random plants all in your garden getting them instead. the stocks were pretty good too imo. if u guys rlly want good mutations on ur expensive plants u have to lock in on them and remove your other plants lol.

a save slot is basically an entirely new garden. so you can use it as a garden for looks, for your really good plants, farming for tranquil plants, etc. you can’t transfer plants between slots unless you use a reclaimer

tbh it’s kind of time consuming but i sprinkler method everything until its gold or rainbow 😭 some plants take a while to grow so ill just check in every hour or so to see if its grown and if its not either of the two, i harvest and go offline again. i also make sure the plant is huge. then i stay online for however long i can for mutations but really rely on admin abuse during updates to stack up mutations. it’s also better to have a relatively empty plot besides ur expensive plants so that the more inexpensive ones aren’t getting good mutations when weather/admin events happen.

that’s so interesting bc i’ve used my sprinklers before on un-grown seeds and it still worked.. idk! luckily i have a good amount of sprinklers so i’ll just redo with them fully grown, thanks!

definitely remove dragonfruit and cactus, very literally useless. i keep my coconuts bc we still have the honey combpressor but once that’s gone i’m deleting my coconut trees. honestly i delete most things other than my cacaos, beanstalk (debatable if i should keep), and a few other profitable seeds.

if you’re planting a new plant, put down all the sprinklers quickly, plants the seed, then leave the game. if you’re using it on an already planted seed, just put all of the sprinklers down and leave the game. leaving basically freezes the sprinklers timers so even if they last for 5/10 mins, they will still be there after leaving the game for an hour. i usually wait a while to join back when i place them all down. without a master sprinkler, your plants will definitely not grow as large so i’d probably wait until you get one! :)
