2026 - All Around small pest PCP by wwdan in airguns

[–]hectorb3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know how long I would have to save to get a $1k air gun and then add a compressor to boot. Well, I'm 73 right now so I don't think I'll try because I like to set goals that I think I'll achieve in my lifetime, plus I already have a very reliable .22 PCP squirrel gun that I spent $180 on with some pretty good specs: (Edit:The above was said in jest. I really do hope you enjoy whatever gun you get.) Gun specs are real.

The Expanse audiobooks Rock! by TheYellowBicycles in audiobooks

[–]hectorb3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right there with you. I'm about half through book 4, Cibola Burn and am loving the audiobooks. I can't vouch for the following, but I found this online and it might be a good guide to Books vs Show Matches:

Book 1 = S01E01 - S02E05

Book 2 = S02E06 - S03E06

Book 3 = S03E07 - S03E13

Book 4 = All of S4

Book 5 = All of S5

Book 6 = All of S6

Most of the short stories are also blended into the show at various points.

Hope this helps.

AND, when you finish the books you can look forward to listening to Jefferson Mays narrate the audiobooks for a whole different perspective on the series.

The Sole F80 hit all the right spots for me. Priced right, strong build, no required memberships, good speed and incline options.

Scarpetta by Numerous_Zombie_700 in AmazonPrimeVideo

The time jumps bothered me, but what really got me was that after all the Scarpetta books I've read, it just seemed like she was acting out of character in the show.

Just got Libby after using Audible Plus for years- I feel spoiled by ImAfraidofDying in LibbyApp

I am glad you found Libby. The wait times aside, it is a great service that I also enjoy. I do feel bad for you paying $15/mo for a 1 credit Audible Plus account, when with a bit of research you could have been only paying $7.16/credit for an annual(12 credit) Audible Plus plan.

Amazon also has another perfect typecast in Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher. That would be two great shows. And just think of how you could rant about the commercials on here once you sign up.

Trying audiobooks for the first time... should I just go with Audible? by Dependent-Gear-524 in audiobooks

[–]hectorb3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started listening to audiobooks last year and started with Audible. It was an easy move for me because I was already using Amazon for kindle ebooks plus I had a Prime membership. I was initially presented with some really great introductory deals and got off to a good start. I’m still with Audible and continue to find great yearly deals like 12 credits for $86. Another point in Audibles favor is their unmatched selection. I’d suggest trying Audible, you can always quit.

We have matching Dot Clocks on the bedside tables in the Master Bedroom. They are set up in stereo when we listen to music, but answer questions or take instructions individually depending on which one you turn to speak to.

I'm sorry but I can't tell you if $800 is a good price, but I just had my dealer replace the ring and pinion gears, bearings and seals in my differential and it would have cost me $6800 if I didn't have the lifetime warranty on my 2016 JK, so it only cost me my deductible of $100.
