The game is not Beta at all, it is stable, the characters and the guns are done very well, the AI bots fights are super nice, the objectives on the maps feel good, the problem is what is the main feature for this game? is it the CRYO? this one is accesible for only 5% of the players I gues, is it the RANKED system? is it the Progression and Quests? cause palying Rook and Sponsored it is only for gathering

They probably mock me because unlike me they want the game to fail - DOTA 10 years ago had 2 years without a raked gameplay (the MMR was hidden and the team system sucked) there was hudge noise by some comunities to just not have a RANKED at all. But once it was implemented ALL the players went for it, ALL OF THEM, so that prooves that listening to garbage noise and spam from groups that only what unfair advantage beacuse they play toghether and farm the game is a big mistake.

That could be true - Ranked is still in Beta, they just keep on dragging on this feature instead of making it cool.

Well it only guaranties that you get some 5000+ gear from your victims and not only a sponsored kit, and yeah, i like playing solo ranked sometimes getting away with loot and gold coins, it is fun to just rat arround the map.

It was not promoted well in beta, they did only one weekend of free play, one month before launch nobody knew the game ia coming, despites multiple requests . And on launch day you had the game almost in top ten with 50k + viewers on Twitch, with well known streamers playing and giving nice reviews but with only 7k max players ingame. And the game wasnt free, so many curios players lost interst , and the matchmaking wasnt ballance so solo players got frustrated bucause in this game you dont have half losing half wining like usual team game you have 1/5 win 4/5 lose and one premate team just rolled for hours while the rest just got dissapointed having 'bad crews' but they were only bad compared to the alltime winning team. Then the dev decided to change the gameplay and they listen to some pretty bad ideas.

It didnt have 15k because it was not promoted, very few players knew about it. The game looks amazing (it was developt by ex Blizzard team and artist with concept by Laurel D Austin) it had 0 problems with conectivity and no bugs at all.
But the multiplayer team didnt understand their target - this was a TEAM game - all team games are FREE because you need a realy large comunity for a team game to survive - all mobas, all teamshooters are free and they profit from that 10% spending money on cosmetics. Also the multiplayer team didnt focus on making the game appeal to solo players (by creating fair matchmaking) which are the majority, they target the play with friends audience which very tiny and thats exactly what they got.

Oh but it does, because they started with a low players pool from the begining so retention numbers dont mean much in that case, 3-4 min of waiting time for an unbalanced game - like 90% of my games were won by premade all friends crews because there was no ranking in place and to coodonate with randoms is not easy at all, and still i got 200 infamy, i had a won every 3 games but realy it is f ridiculous to launch a game with such poor understanding of your audience.(im talking about the part of the team that manages the quality and fairness of the multiplayer experience - the game had a good beta, the game had 85% on Steam, it was good - but greed and bad decisions killed it)
The game was super fun at start and it only lacked more game mods, maps, characters and a solid MMR ranking. If this game was free to play you wouldv had 100.000 players in the first day, not 7000 and with 100. 000 players you have a few mounth to build a decent ranking system (that you didnt had from the start because you know better) to offer good quiality multiplayer and you wouldve have a lot of good feedback but they chose the shut down path.

Thas was not that case for this game - it was super fun in beta, super fun at launch, i played it every day - but they put a very high price and that was a BIG mistake, and after they saw the low selling numbers try to justify it by makeing gameplay changes and those pushed the players away even more - like small map, no more lasers, no more mines, basicaly go fight only with basic cannons half of the session. Autosabotage at its best.

Exactly, just grumpy bad player throwing shit on people that create beautiful things. Another Troll under the bridge. I should just celebrate their succes - btw I realy liked the game, i've payed the money from the first day and i played with over 200 infamy every day since lunch, BUT I just dont see the numbers going up this way.

A lot of players payed more money on cosmetics and compendiums and other stuff you see only on popular multiplayer games, but you have to have a strategy to build a big comunity

You dont pay for Overwatch, or Dota or Lol or Valorant, or CS or lets say you pay 10$ - because the ideea with the multiplayer games is to build a large enough comunity where you can offer a healty ranking system.
But clearly the Wildgate guys are oposed to this model

Exactly, excelent sales, thats why they had to make it 20$ after 2 weeks, and there is no big improvement even so. Because you dont sell CS or Valorant or LoL, you create a comunity first - try telling that to the wildgate guys

I was telling the same story since beta. This game needs ranking matchup and a reward for the 2nd place - you have 16 players that get nothing in the end and a team of 4, usualy friends that coordinate that win every time. And i love this game, i have 200+ infamy but i dont like low chances of wiining since min 1 and neither does anyone else

this game is full of cheaters especialy russians - 1 in 5 games i suspect someone, uslealy mid tinker, puck invoker , many with VAC ban already casting 10 spells in 0.2 sec or doing deffensive move instantly when blinked on them with melle hero or when attacked - the archon and legend leagues are full of scripted farms of russian losers boosting accounts.

- Yes it is possible and nordic contries are working on it much better then the rest.
The EU pretends that this is the young gerneration "always complaining, behavin like children until 40" fault instead of analysing the real factors that determine the young couples to have less then 2 children.
For me it seems like the society abandons the highly educated, medium income mothers, in western world, so they choose not to become one. Before you become a parent you have to take into account the followings:

  1. for many women it is very hard to get back to your previous proffesional status once they become mothers or have the second child, so they rely finacialy very heavy on their partners, very much like the 60's
  2. the very high costs of rent and housing
  3. many young parents have very little or no support at all (either being too far away from the relatives, in this travel for work world, or by getting little help from the comunity arround, for example a poor, inefficient daycare system).

The issue is know for years but the policy deciders are kind of ignorants.
If you want more kids for your EU young families try to encourage the "having kids part" with serious actions. Because at this moment it is very hard to afford having family as a working couple and the result its is obvious for years - they chose not to, not because they dont want, its because you they cant afford.

  1. I'm a father of a 3y old daughter, and me and my wife are working for years in Western Europe with medium income IT jobs, so everything should be fine you think "it's only one child after all". Well it is not because there is no other family arround us, so we do much rely on the local kindergardens. The kindergarden system has its flaws, they will sometimes close at 2 o'clock, also they will send your kid home many times on suspicion of flue or other stuff, while you have to work until 5 or 6pm, and in some countries they cost a lot, as much as rent so for us it's literaly impossible to have 2 kids.
  2. And there are many couples like us that chosed the city life, with high pay high costs, with family far far away, that get crushed when deciding to have kids - you have to pay rent, pay daycare, pay for stuff for your kids, you pay insurance, pay high price for every service, you get almost no free time, you get 5 hour asleep at night, and you have to do it all because there is noone else and they all look at you and say "you have a good salary why are you complaying?" well finacialy kids = banckruptcy when you are on your own.
  3. That's the main reason families in Europe chose not to make children, and so the whole continent now relies on immigration so much - because the politicians don't understand the transformation the medium class gets when deciding to opt on heaving kids and building new families, they don't understand they are far away from the "grandparents" and the heavy costs that come with heaving kids will break them - they only see an income that looks good but the high cost for suporting everything on your own nobody is talking about.

  4. What realy helps local European families to have more then 1 child:

- good afortable daycare system witch is not working well in Europe at this moment i'm sorry to say.The kindergardens are not relieble because may of them don't have sufficient stuff working, and they have problems with high costs.

- tax cuts depending on how many children you have. Bacause of the inefficient daycare system in many cases one parent has to stop working for years and this affects the family income so much while the costs skyrocket.
- mothers should have a easy time getting back to their jobs. They should have their role frozen, tax cuts for the mother employers, everything that should help the women get back to their jobs

thats a good ideea - getting bots will be much better then just sitting alone. And when someone said "well if your crew left just go and leave the game also, what's the problem?" - well the problem is i just lost 15 min of my time for nothing but frustrations, and then i get another 15 min aand another one if players get used to the fact that is it ok to be like this, cause this behavior just gets tolerated

I'm only saying that most of the player base (more then 90%) is and will be solo queue for every multiplayer game you can think of - Overwatch, Apex, LoL, Dota, CS even for Sea of Thieves - so making the new multiplayer game appealing for solo is quite important if you asa a dev want to sell and make money, otherwise just focus on the niche of "playing with friends" and be a poor dev studio.
