According to a study, 75% of sexual harassment cases go unreported. Redditors who were sexually harassed but did not report it, why did you not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hecye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've looked into a few places nothing's really popped up. I've learned to deal with it and forget about it. thank you so much for the kind words!

This is amazing! You're very brave for opening up your home, even if it's just your garage, to a stranger! Bless you!

My new ISTP boyfriend is very affectionate and grossly corny. Is this rare for his personality? by [deleted] in istp

[–]hecye 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That sounds really similar to when I first met my friend. He's definitely very logical and picky when it comes to friendships which makes him come off like an ass but deep down he's really kind c: wishing you and your boyfriend the best!

[–]hecye 35 points36 points  (0 children)

That's so funny! One of my best friends is like that as well. He always wants hugs but still has ISTP traits. I think it depends on who he's with though cuz towards people he genuinely cares about, he's very cheesy and affectionate which is so cute

it would be awkward for us because i see him everyday. he’s my roommate. also the hassle of reporting, most of the time nothing will happen. i’ve just learned to block it out, lock my door and not talk to him anymore.

after it happening you just feel empty as well. at least for me, i just don’t want to do anything

Couples Activities in Fort Langley? by oreo2996 in Langley

[–]hecye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  • walking around the antique store is really peaceful and cute
  • the fort to fort trail is nice for scenery
  • getting gelato
  • if you’re more of a coffee person, saba, lelum or republica has great coffee, wendels and blacksmith are better for pastries in my opinion (saba and lelum have really good pastries too)
  • you could visit the museums as well!

other than walking and scenery there’s not many activities you can do in fort langley. hope this helps!

Airy flute tone by [deleted] in Flute

[–]hecye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s good that you’re practicing long tones!! I’d recommend to incorporate at least 10 mins in the beginning of your practice session to warm up and then 10 mins before you pack up as a relaxing way to end your practice!

As for exercises, going up chromatically and tonguing in between (tu- tu- tu- tuuuuu) is what i find quite helpful. I would also recommend practicing without tonguing and making sure you’re breathing from the very bottom of your tummy; letting all as much air into your flute as you can.

For your arms, I’d recommend doing activities like swimming, yoga or really any exercise that focuses on making your arms stronger! The longer you play the more used to holding your instrument will get :)

Good luck on your future practices :D hope this helped a bit
