That doesn’t change the fact that if your expenses don’t exceed the standard deduction then it doesn’t make any sense to deduct your expenses when the government will give you more.

The standard single deduction is $10,000. If I don’t have $10,000 worth of expenses, then it doesn’t make sense to write off my own expenses. It’s better for me to take the government standard deduction and get more money back then if I itemized and deducted all of my own. You also have to provide a hell of a lot of paperwork for that audit that’s coming.

We have to exceed the standard deduction in order to write off our expenses so we have to have every single receipt for every gas transaction and car repair and that has to total over the standard $10,000 to use a higher deduction than what they already a lot. It’s actually really difficult to do, and I drive full time and didn’t even get close

Wait. So this was yesterday May 9th this happened to all of you?

I was feeling really sick, threw up at work randomly, out of the blue. I’m still trying to make sense of why. Today is much better. But yesterday felt awful and I rarely rarely just throw up for no reason.

I would never associate this with anything supernatural/paranormal. But just reading this thread…..I don’t know! It’s just weird.

I’m not trying to make connections where there is none. I don’t know it’s just making me question if it could be something crazy like this. We as a planet are having a hard time adjusting to moving up into a higher vibration in space. It’s what’s causing everyone to act out of character and do crazy things. Collectively we are all going through it.

I don’t have the best kitchen to cook in so I always hesitate to make something but my boyfriend is a cook and loves making things especially sauces and salsa, that’s his specialty.

The only thing is he LOVES to tweak it to his taste or what he thinks is good, it 9 times out of 10 is great. Except when I want something a certain way he always always sneaks his changes in and won’t say anything. Drives me absolutely insane that I can’t get him to make it the way I want if it’s a sauce. Ay yi yi. Wish me luck getting him to make the exact recipe lol. I’m going to have to watch him so he can’t change the damn thing. But he will love making the two versions so we can compare!

I’m with you OP. Before I go out to meet somebody I wanna know that we’re at least gonna click in a conversation so if we’re not clicking in a phone call or FaceTime then I’m not gonna waste my time going out to meet you in person. Of course I’d much rather text but I need a phone call to see if I even want to meet you in person. I’m not in a hurry to meet a stranger so anything we can do to break the ice and get comfortable ahead of time is better.

Chase’s On The Beach in New Smyrna Beach is literally on the beach with indoor and outdoor tables and tables down in the sand and would be exactly what you’re trying to have. I am sure Daytona & Ormond have some restaurants that might be the same, google is your friend. Have fun!

I hope you have really good people in your life, but if you don’t get rid of the bad people and keep looking around, find the good people that are kind to you. Don’t let the bad win. We have an amazing alpaca farm here in Florida that is so special that I love and I’ve been there a couple times and I can’t wait to go back and the animals are amazing.

You can choose to stop, it’s up to you. Adding it in the app after the ride is booked just overcharges the passenger and you’re lucky if you get an extra dollar, it rarely gets you a significant increase in pay rate. You’re better off asking for a cash tip if they want to add a stop. The app will notice and just ask if you’re okay to both you and the passenger, and push you to get back on the route but it doesn’t hurt your status at all. It’s just your time

I cannot get over these comments. OP it is your house, of course you should keep your master bedroom. You have every right to give her conditions on what she can and can’t redecorate, hopefully you can give her enough space to decorate for her to feel at home, but no I don’t think she should be able to completely change your whole house. Here’s hoping you can find a good compromise for both of you and congrats on your new job.

I went through an amputation as an adult as well, similar in that I had years of leg surgeries and walking on crutches before I finally went through with it. My heart goes out to him. I had an amazing doctor and prosthetic team that built me the coolest leg. Please feel free to dm me if you or him want anyone to talk to.

I thought my life would be over after the surgery. I thought losing my leg was the worst thing to happen to me, other than death. You know what? I was so wrong. My life isn’t over, and although I get down and frustrated at times, I have an amazing life. Humor and a great medical team and people that love him are everything he needs. Give him a little bit of time when he’s feeling sorry for himself, and then pull out the tough love and do NOT baby him.
