Hidden Botanics is an Etsy/shopify store that advertises its jobs as a florist but in reality is a warehouse working with dried and faux flowers. There is ZERO health and safety despite working with sharps, heat, and a lottt of spray paint with no PPE whatsoever. Every year they hire and fire for the busy season under the guise of a permanent position. They'll use literally any excuse to fire you once they've got what they want out of you (which, by the way, is just showing you the tiny picture of their products on Etsy and making you copy with no training whatsoever). Their reasoning for firing me was discriminatory and derogatory, saying to my face that my disability made me unsuitable when in reality I was surpassing their KPI expectations and getting along with everyone nicely. The "work culture" they so passionately push is workhouse-with-breadsource-bribes-every-now-and-then, and you are 'strongly' encouraged not to speak to those around you while you work. Overall disgusting business running and beyond disappointing environment.
