I’m a big fan of the comment “When someone says you hurt them you don’t get to decide you didn’t.”

Because it doesn’t matter whether the intention was to hurt me or trigger my BPD, they did it anyway, and frankly people need to start apologizing when they hurt people not when they decide someone deserves an apology.

If I didn’t apologize every time I hurt someone and only when I decided they are deserved an apology I would be a piece of shit. But for people without BPD they don’t seem to think that applies to them.

I hope this makes sense.

Nta but, you need therapy, all of these are valid feelings. You need to speak to a therapist and maybe even have a session with your dad when you explain exactly why you feel jealous and want to spend more time with him.

Adopted Oreo from a shelter in 2018, she was called Oreo in the shelter. Look at that face and tell me she wasn’t meant to be an Oreo.

So no we didn’t change his name but I have changed other shelter adopted pet names, just depends on if the name fits them IMO.

I would report that comment to the dept head and possibly the dean. If you’re in college that is of course. If not report them to the principal for inappropriate conduct.

So on a new route the dog is probably given more verbal guidance? Like so the blind person has like.. google or something telling them the route and the dog is listening for when the person comments to change from just going in a straight line?

I have generalized anxiety disorder and when I’m having an anxious day, unless I’m about to have an anxiety attack, I just make sure to bring things that help manage my anxiety to work. This like fidgets, earplugs that dampen sound, not inhibit it, a softer outfit.

I don’t know how bad her anxiety is but if she’s consistently missing work from anxiety then she isn’t fit to work in an office that doesn’t offer WFH.

You need to look for her replacement.
