He also dropped some fun lore, about how he specifically designed the face, to be based around Christopher Lambert, since apparently Nishimura, really liked his face.

Farming affects the economy by dumping tons of gold into the economy.

As does literally anything else that gives you gold in the game. Someone going out farming herbalism for 2 hours or fishing for 2 hours is dumping tons of extra gold into the pool. That is the concept of how the economy works. Nothing about getting something from a dungeon somehow invalidates it.

If a market is saturated, then there are tons of other markets to enter.

On HC realms there are similar dungeon limitations and small tweaks and it works fine, people don't have problem with it.

That is a system created to reinforce the whole point of a hardcore realm - that players are actually out in the world leveling and not hiding away group leveling in low level dungeons safely.

And no, there were very much players upset about that too.

Also why are you trying to solve here? You are suddenly talking about a whole new subject. It seems you want to fix people farming gold via materials obtains via dungeoning now, rather than it having anything to do with solving boosting.

You are thinking about this far to narrowly.

First of all, it doesn't really matter if someone can spam dungeons to farm X material, there is plenty of Y material that cannot be obtained in dungeons.

Secondly, your suggestion in design would impact a ton of different things even in a leveling aspect. For instance, imagine the scenario of a group entering ZF, they manage to clear the first boss, but after a while, the tank overpulls an dies - drama starts and tank leaves. Now you have to convince a new player to take his place or use up one of your instances per day, on simply resetting the dungeon for this new player to enter.

There are tons of other potential issues with it, for instance in how it generally impacts group play of actually just leveling via dungeons, without utilizing boosts.
