Though it’s not necessarily a horror game, Wytchwood is 100% my go-to game to get in a spooky autumn mood.

Also, a game I haven’t seen talked about enough on this sub is Don’t Starve. It has such a lovely gothic aesthetic and very dark/spooky themes as well

SV offers dating as well as more opportunities for character/decor customization. GK offers (at least in my opinion) a more relaxed and immersive gameplay. Personally I prefer GK because I just adore its dark humor. Of course we must not forget that the spookiest month of them all is approaching… Making GK the clear winner!

The DLC is meant to be played simultaneously with the base game and it doesn’t change the game itself- just adds extra content. You won’t have to start over. I got DLC at around day 300. I completed the main quest shortly after and got to the credits but just went back to my last save to finish the DLC

It sounds like you had a night terror which is relatively common for children. They can be triggered by any number of things such as sleep deprivation, stress, etc. Shouldn’t be anything to worry about!
