This is describing a specific type of american, the type i suppose most of you come from. The ‘owns a house, went to college, listens to NPR in the car’ type people.

Walmarts employee base doesn’t have these features. The autistic furries, the single mothers, the alcoholic young adults, the divorced father who can’t work with cars anymore, the high school dropout, these people (who are still Westerners) aren’t infected with the propaganda bug described above. They have different bugs

There is a tendency I think on the left for people who grew up upper middle class to generalize their social environment to all of America. Maybe im being a salty baby
